Dr Tumelo Kgolo-Ramashaba

Clinical Neuropsychologist - B. Psych, M.A Couns. Psych, D.Psych Clin-Neuro

Dr Kgolo-Ramashaba attained her Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology doctoral degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. She is also an experienced Counselling psychologist, having completed a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Rhodes University. As a Clinical/Counselling psychologist, Dr Kgolo-Ramashaba has worked with multiple clinical presentations including severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and a high level of comorbid substance abuse. Her neuropsychology expertise includes extensive neuropsychological testing and evaluation for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as rehabilitation following traumatic brain injury and stroke.

Dr Kgolo- Ramashaba has a special research interest in the neuropsychological impact of epilepsy on mental health, and is a recipient of the 2021 University of Queensland Best Doctoral Clinical Psychology thesis award. Dr Kgolo-Ramashaba prides herself in providing evidence-based treatments, modifying and adapting strategies to the client population. As an individual who is fascinated by every opportunity to explore human complexities through clinical work and research, she is naturally intrigued by brain and behavior, and is passionate about contributing to the development of Clinical neuropsychology in Botswana.
